This is a season of accelerated advancement for the Body of Christ. There is a storm of the Spirit bringing rain, spiritual energy and a harvest of souls! Our ministry is in the middle of the storm. You and your family can be in the middle of this storm! This is not a storm of destruction. This is a storm of spiritual change. The word storm is defined as a disturbance of the normal condition of the atmosphere with strong winds and rain. The atmosphere of unbelief is going to be turned upside down. God’s power will be on display and His Word will be glorified. Spiritual winds will knock down and remove the structures that the enemy has built. Obstacles to your advancement will be removed by this storm of the spirit! Those things that have been holding your loved ones back from freedom and salvation will be removed by this storm that brings accelerated advancement.
I believe Our Father is a Miracle-Working God. My Savior is full of glory and all power in Heaven and in Earth is given to Him. As He releases that power on Earth, it will flow through you and me. We are the Body of Christ. We are His hands and feet. Our mouth belongs to Him. Our minds belong to Him. Do you know what this means?
Expect His thoughts to be abundantly flowing to your mind. Expect His compassion to fill your heart. Expect your hands to release His miracle-working power! Listen to something the Lord to us recently at Faith Builders International. “It is bigger than you think. It is larger than you imagined. The thought process in your life will expand; because I am bringing you to a level where you think like I think, and where you see like I see, and where you understand on a level where you have never understood before. The realm of impossibility will cease to be relevant for you. You will live in the realm of what the world says is impossible. What religion says cannot be done will be common ground for you.”
It is bigger than you think! So start thinking bigger. Go to the Word and get His thoughts. Renew your mind and be transformed like the Bible says in Romans 12:2. Transformation is complete like a metamorphosis. Have a complete change of behavior. Have a complete change of your spending habits. Have a complete change to the way you treat your husband or wife.
Let the Word draw the picture of what the Lord wants you to see in your spirit. Then, you can walk in it. Proverbs 4:20 tells us to “attend” to God’s Word by inclining our ear and not letting it out of our sight. The supernatural power in the words of our Father delivers His supernatural perception. We can see what He means. We can perceive His viewpoint. We can follow His lead.
In Luke 24, we read the story of the women who went to Jesus’ tomb to finish placing the burial spices and balms on His dead body. They were met by two angels who asked them, “Why seek ye the living among the dead?” These women meant well. They wanted to honor the death of Jesus. But, they had not given attention to His words. The angels reminded the women what Jesus had already told them. “Remember how He spake unto you when He was in Galilee saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” Then they remembered his words. Their countenance changed. Their direction changed. Everything changed when the attention was placed back on the words of Jesus.
I know what it is like to have situations that scream for your attention. I understand the dilemma of having to deal with circumstances that produce emotions of anxiety, shame, embarrassment, or fear. This is not a theory I am presenting. This is not a subject to learn about. This is real life and God’s Word keeps us above the power of the circumstance!
These women were in the wrong place looking for the wrong thing because they gave their attention to sense knowledge. Their direction and activity was motivated by what they had seen, felt, heard and experienced. When they were reminded of the revelation knowledge Jesus had previously given to them, their activity changed. No more tears. No more sadness. No more sorrow. Let me remind you of the revelation knowledge from Isaiah 54:13, “And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be the peace of thy children.” No more crying, desperate prayers for God to do what He has already promised! Now there is shouting and joy for the peace of my children.
Don’t allow dread to control your mind. Don’t think in line with the worst! Fear wants you to see things growing worse and becoming more difficult. When you believe the worst is coming, you act in line with that belief. You speak in line with that belief. You cooperate with the circumstance! Don’t cooperate with the circumstance.
Apply this to any situation you are facing. What has the Lord already told you? Go back to His Word and give it your attention. Make sure your emotions, thoughts and decisions are in line with revelation knowledge. Listen to His direction for us now. Expect a storm of the Spirit that changes the atmosphere in your home, your finances, and your future! It is bigger than you think! So start thinking bigger!
